MEET OUR CAPTAIN AND CREW
Captain Dave is a Coast Guard certified Captain and an experienced sailor who has logged extensive hours on Dream Chaser, bareboats in the Virgin Islands, and the Ayacanora, a 72' sailing vessel in St. Thomas VI.
Dave's love of sailing began in 1988 when he moved to Oklahoma with the US Air Force and took up windsurfing in his spare time. He also bought and sailed a hobie cat for several summers before purchasing Dream Chaser in 2008, and the rest is history!
Captain Dave's plans are to relocate to the Virgin Islands sometime in the next few years as soon as he can retire from working as an engineer at Tinker AFB. He's looking forward to his second career as an owner/Captain of a catamaran taking guests on day sails around St. Thomas and St. John!
Robin is an ASA certified sailor, and fully enjoys her role as both crew and back-up captain on Dream Chaser. Whenever we're motoring and docking, she's queen of the helm; when we're sailing, she's the Hostess with the Mostest!
